You walk into the room and stop for a second. Something feels off. Then you see it. Your couch has little bit marks in the corner, the leg of the table is scarred, and one of your shoes is missing. Your dog is gazing at you like nothing at all with that serene face.

You are most likely to have seen this in case you own a dog. It does not matter if it is a puppy or an adult dog. When they have the desire to chew, they will get something, even your favorite furniture.

After a tiring day you finally get down to sit and have a peaceful evening. The house is quiet a few moments, and your dog is lying close by, looking at you. Then suddenly the pacing commences. One moment your dog has moved to the other end of the room, then he or she gets up, looks around, and begins to chew something that he is not supposed to chew. You attempt to calm them down, perhaps call their name or present a toy, but nothing can seem to capture their interest long.

It typically begins with a minor sound. You are sitting in a different room, perhaps attempting to complete some work or even take a few minutes off and your dog barks. Initially, you do not pay attention to it and believe that it will pass. Then there is a second call, a call more high-pitched. It becomes a trend that cannot be overlooked within minutes.
